A study which reviewed interviews from 71 men between the ages of 21 and 46 revealed that Propecia sexual side effects could be permanent in at least 15% of users of the drug or its generic counterpart finasteride. The study revealed that, while the men took the drug for, on average, 28 months, the mean duration of their Propecia sexual side effects was 40 months.
