Jennifer Halpern

Bio Overview:

In addition to being an attorney, Jennifer is also a registered nurse.  Jennifer began her undergraduate education with a pre-nursing focus, at the University of Georgia.  She graduated from the Medical College of Georgia School of Nursing, in Athens, with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing.  Before graduation, Jennifer performed an internship on a medical-surgical floor at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. She completed her preceptorship in the post-partum unit at St. Mary’s Hospital in Athens, Georgia.
 
After becoming a registered nurse, Jennifer developed an interest in advocating for the legal rights of the ill and injured.  In order to further her education, she decided to pursue a legal career and attended John Marshall Law School in Atlanta, Georgia. While in law school, Jennifer worked as a law clerk in the Workers’ Compensation section of Morgan & Morgan. 
 
Combining both her medical and legal backgrounds, Jennifer currently practices in the area of Social Security Disability. She understands and has compassion for those that are unable to work due to their disabilities and severe medical conditions and works diligently to ensure her clients receive the disability benefits they are entitled to and deserve.
