Conductors
Conductors are materials through which electricity passes with ease. Common conductors include metals, such as aluminum, copper, iron and steel, earth, concrete and the human body. Electrocution usually arises from contact with electrified conductors, such as improperly insulated wires, power lines or electrically charged appliances.
Anyone working with electricity should avoid contact with any kind of conductors, including jewelry, belts with metal buckles, and metallic ladders, as they can increase the likelihood and severity of electrocution.
