Bio Overview:
Bill grew up in the small town of Ogden, Arkansas, population 214. From there he attended college at the University of Notre Dame and law school at Vanderbilt University. While at Vanderbilt, Bill won the 1999 Manfred Lachs International Moot Court Competition. The final round was hosted and judged by the real International Court of Justice in the Hague, the Netherlands.
Bill began practicing law in Memphis in a large corporate and defense-oriented law firm, but eventually left that practice to join a smaller boutique. It was then that Bill found himself retained more and more frequently to represent plaintiffs in commercial disputes, usually involving real estate and construction. Bill joined Morgan and Morgan in 2008.
Bill was selected as a Mid-South Super Lawyer Rising Star in the field of medical malpractice in 2009, 2010 and 2011.
