Biography Overview

Mr. Moore graduated from Northwestern University and the University of Florida Law School with honors and was admitted to the Bar in 1996 in the State of Florida and the U.S. District Court for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Florida.

Mr. Moore is a member of the Hillsborough County and American (Member Litigation Section) Bar Associations, and The Florida Justice Association. He serves on and is past President of the Board of Directors for the Hillsborough County Bar Association, Trial Lawyers' section, and he was also a barrister in the Tampa Bay Inn of Courts.

Florida Trend has included Mr. Moore in its publication as one of Florida's Legal Elite in 2007-2009. Mr. Moore has also been selected for inclusion in Florida Super Lawyers in 2007-2012, an honor that is bestowed on only 5% of attorneys each year. He has received an AV® Peer Review Rating by Martindale-Hubbell, the preeminent national publication in the legal field. According to Martindale-Hubbell, "An AV rating is a significant accomplishment - a testament to the fact that a lawyer's peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence. A lawyer must be admitted to the bar for 10 years or more to receive an AV rating. This rating is based upon evaluations by other lawyers and is the highest ranking attainable by an attorney for ability and ethics in the practice of law. It is a distinction reserved for a select few in the legal community."

Mr. Moore is co-author of the chapter, "Damages" in the FLORIDA MEDICAL MALPRACTICE HANDBOOK, published by The Florida Bar. He also speaks frequently with health care provider groups and attorneys concerning medical negligence issues.

Mr. Moore is a member of Leadership Tampa Bay, class of 2002, and the Northwestern University Leadership Circle. He has served the Guardian ad Litem program in the 4th and 8th Judicial Circuits, and is a recipient of the Perry Vloedman Public Service Award for his service to the 8th Judicial Circuit Guardian ad Litem program. He continues his advocacy for children’s rights, serving on the board of directors for Crossroads for Florida Kids.  Mr. Moore serves on and is past President of the Board of Directors of the Gasparilla Music Foundation, doing business as Gasparilla Music Festival and its nonprofit enterprise, Recycled Tunes.  He also serves on the Advisory Board for and is past "President of the Tampa Film Institute", a non-profit doing business as the Gasparilla Film Festival.

Mr. Moore is married to Beverly Addison, and they are blessed with two children.
