Biography Overview

Alex Billias handles automobile and motorcycle crash cases on behalf of our injured clients in our downtown Tampa office on behalf of injured clients. He first joined Morgan and Morgan in 2000 and has successfully represented thousands of clients on behalf of our firm. He has handled all aspects of personal injury cases from intake, pre-suit settlements, litigation, pre-trial litigation settlements, and jury trials. Mr. Billias has obtained numerous positive jury verdicts on behalf of our clients as the lead trial attorney and solo trial attorney. 
 
Mr. Billias has also been appointed and served terms on the Florida Bar Code and Rules of Evidence Committee and the Florida Rules of Civil Procedure Committee. Both committees serve important roles and are concerned with the proposal of new statewide rules of procedure and changes to existing rules.
 
Mr. Billias has been honored with the prestigious ""AV Preeminant"" rating by Martindale-Hubbell, the paramount national publication in the legal field. This rating is based upon evaluations by his peers, specifically attorneys and judges, who have had direct experience with him in lawsuits and jury trials. 

AV Preeminant ranking is only given to attorneys who are ranked at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal expertise, communication skills, and ethical standards and it is a distinction reserved for a select few in the legal community.
 
While in law school at the State University of New York at Buffalo, Mr. Billias received a Graduate Assistantship and was appointed as the Chief University Prosecutor for the entire Student-Wide Judiciary. He was an executive board member of the University at Buffalo Moot Court Board and a member of the Philip C. Jessup International Moot Court Board. He was also an Associate Editor of the American Bar Association Journal of Affordable Housing and Community Development Law.
