Appealing Social Security Administration Decisions

You have the right to appeal any decision the Social Sec makes in regards to your eligibility for disability insurance benefits or supplemental security income payment. If you choose to appeal  a written request must be submitted within 60 days from the day you received a letter of denial.  During an appeal the Social Security Administration will review the initial decision even the sections that are in your favor. If any mistakes were made the decision can be reversed. Four Levels of Appeal;: -Reconsideration,  A hearing before an administrative law judge, Appeals council review, and Federal  Court Review.
