Overview:
Deirdre Stephens Johnson is a skilled litigator leading Morgan & Morgan’s Labor & Employment /Wage and Hour Division in its Atlanta office. She is committed to representing only employees in claims against their employers for unpaid wages, job related discriminatory practices, unsafe work environments and other unfair labor practices. She also fights to protect the rights of employees if they experience retaliation from their employer for pursuing these claims. Mrs. Johnson has over eleven years of experience in the areas of labor and employment law, employment discrimination, wage and hour, education law, child advocacy and civil rights. She is an honors graduate of Spelman College, and earned her law degree from Emory University School of Law. A well respected community advocate and volunteer, Mrs. Johnson is a past board member of Positive Growth Group Home for Boys, and currently serves as the Vice -President of Advisory Planning on the Executive Board of the Junior League of DeKalb County, Georgia. She is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the National Employment Lawyers Association. She has been featured on Fox News, and has presented at several legal seminars and leadership training conferences in Georgia and various other states including Washington, DC and California.
